Written by
Philip José Farmer & Christopher Paul
Carey.
This story was found in Farmer's archives in 2009. It is based on an alternate
outline fragment by Philip José Farmer of his third
Khokarsa
novel, The Song of Kwasin.
DESCRIPTION:
Kwasin,
a cousin of Hadon, flees for the Minruth sailors and soldiers. He wants
to go to Dythbeth, intended to get his name cleared. But the soldiers
find him again and in the battle that follows Kwasin gets help from the
snake priestess Madekha.
She asks in return his help to free the village of her twin sister,
priestess Adythne. Kwasin doesn't like the burden put on him and tries
to ignore the request, but he nevertheless ends up near Adythne's
village.
