A double pastiche about Tarzan, written as if by William Burroughs instead of Edgar Rice Burroughs. It's a little miracle that Farmer could write the text as if by William Burroughs.

DESCRIPTION:

A very funny and explicit story about Tarzan, written in a way you won't believe until you have read it.
Norman Spinrad in his foreword: "Although "Jungle Rot Kid" is a kind of pastiche, basically a very funny piece, in a curious way it epitomizes Farmer as a writer and as a human being. To begin with, no one but Farmer would have thought of such a piece. I don't know anyone else who is such a dedicated Edgar Rice Burroughs expert and also knows who William Burroughs is, let alone has the ability to write exactly like him ... the incredibly diverse literary streams of the two Burroughs merge in this story..."
